Ojai, California

Deb, an interior designer by trade, brought her keen sense of color, texture, and scale to our collaboration for her wedding flowers. We suggested that the flowers speak to the transition between Winter and Spring, to further soften the lines between the celebration and the environment. An unconventional chuppah features materials foraged, gleaned, and cultivated -- dried brush, rambling white rose, spirea, and blooming branches. Tabletops are punctuated with redwood ceramics, golden mauve roses, and bright blue bursts of delphinium. A geometric display of botanicals floats above the dance floor.
