Community Spotlight: Vy Voi Ceramics

Here at Studio Mondine we value the many community partners it takes to put floral designs and events together! We are working on a continuous series to highlight these ceramicists, artists, photographers, event planners and vendors alike in a collection of photographs on our social media platforms. Follow along as we create a community of support and engagement! First up is the lovely Steffany with Vy Voi Ceramic Studio. To spotlight her pieces we create a floral design focused on movement and color to compliment the minimalist ceramic pieces. 

From Steffany: “Vy Voi focuses on porcelain wares with a human touch. Made in New York, all pieces are thrown, trimmed, and glazed by hand with care, celebrating the carefree, unpredictable nature of organic materials. Rooted in honesty and curiosity, Vy Voi came about as a means to further explore design and Vietnam's rich ceramics heritage. The name comes from an enduring childhood nickname that fuses “Vy” (Steffany's Vietnamese name) and “con voi” (the Vietnamese word for elephant used to describe her remarkable appetite) together affectionately.”
