Mother's Day AAPI Fundraiser
In collaboration with student, colleague and friend Judy Leung of Found Floral, we were able to raise $4,000 as part of our Mother’s Day Fundraiser for the AAPI Fund!
Our floral fundraiser would have been impossible without generous support and donations from ceramicists Etsuko (@ekbceramics), Ian (@craftrider), Terrie (@thecuriouspotter), Steve (@rubyste) and Anna (@anna_yuhkyung) of Merritt Ceramics, and Hannah of Gather Flora (@gatherflora).
Many others from the Merritt Ceramics community rallied around our fundraiser and donated pieces in part or whole. Much gratitude to:

About AAPI Fund:
There is a longstanding need for AAPIs – as a community of color and predominantly immigrant and refugee population – to become informed, activated, and engaged, particularly in the area of civic participation. Yet, AAPI voter registration and turnout rates have historically been disproportionately low.
We will foster a culture of civic participation within AAPI communities by supporting the growth of AAPI groups as organizational movement and power building leaders that achieve specific policy, systems, and transformational change.
We’re proud to stand with the AAPI Fund and their mission to foster civic participation within the AAPI community to build a more just world.
