Announcing: The Wedding Workshop in Santa Barbara

In collaboration with Jen Huang Bogan, we’re excited to announce our first ever in-person wedding installation workshop: THE WEDDING WORKSHOP on August 26th, 2021 at the historic Santa Barbara House.

As a team, we’ll design a full day of flowers — from personals, to ceremony, to reception, and all the details in between. We’ve never hosted a workshop specific to event/wedding design like this, where students actually join in on the execution of an event!

Jen will lead a group of film photographers in capturing all of the details of the day — the perfect opportunity to build a complete event day gallery!

At the end of the day, we’ll all sit down to a meal together. Here’s a fantastic chance to connect with event industry colleagues, some with years of experience, and some just coming onto the scene. We anticipate many, many more creative endeavors will arise from this meeting of minds in Santa Barbara this Summer!

Overview:

Our day begins at 9AM, and the optional dinner runs through 7PM.

The “wedding day” will take place at the historic Santa Barbara House.

We’ll work together as a team to create a personal flowers suite, ceremony installation, reception dinner installation, reception dinner centerpieces, cake flower details, and flat lay floral details.

Jen and her photography students will capture ALL of our work, which will be shared after the workshop and can be used to build your portfolios.

A joint dinner for the entire delegation will be served at the reception space we design. Meet fellow florists and photographers!

Limited to 6 seats to ensure a small group learning experience.

Investment: $1,250, inclusive of materials and dinner.
